Entertainment
Danny
O’Flaherty
Danny O’Flaherty is originally from Connemara, Ireland, Danny was one of the last of a generation reared in the isolation of a pure Gaelic culture. Through his stories and songs, he takes you to the depths of his soul, and back to the ancient music played and sung around the peat fires in Ireland.
Finbar
Furey
Finbar Furey will be joining us direct from Ireland. He has toured extensively in Britain, Australia, and elsewhere, bringing his rare talents to a world-wide stage and treating audiences to evenings of pure Irish magic, great music, good humour, and the charm and sparkling wit associated with one of Ireland's great raconteurs.
The
Lone Star Ceili Band
The Lone Star Ceili Band is one of Texas’ custodians of traditional Irish music and dance. Each of the members of LSCB are accomplished players of traditional Irish music. The ensemble gives a worthy representation of traditional “ceili” bands as found in Ireland. The word “ceili” is an Irish word that means gathering, a social event.

Brian
Gaffney
Brian Gaffney was born in Tralee, County Kerry. Youngest of 4 kids, Brian didn't take long to pick up a love of music from his brothers. By age 13, Brian was playing in pubs around Kerry with accordion player Kevin Cronin. Brian continued to play all over Ireland until 1985 when he immigrated to America where he has continued tour with a variety of groups and as a solo artist.
Legend
has it that the Irish in New Orleans were not invited to any
of the high society Mardi Gras Balls, so over 100 years ago
they dreamed up a ball of their own, O’Houligan’s Irish
Ball. Partygoers dressed in outlandish costumes and mocked
the high class with their shenanigans. The 2010
O’Houligan’s Irish Ball is set to be another fun evening of
music and merriment, this time aboard the Carnival Triumph,
and a wonderful way for Irish (or Irish at heart) from
around the country to come together to celebrate the Mardi
Gras season.
You
will be sailing aboard the 893 foot Carnival Triumph, the
ultimate in relaxation and adventure. In addition to the
private entertainment package included with this tour, you
will also have plenty of time to experience the onboard
activities, wonderful restaurants, friendly casino, relaxing
lounges, invigorating spa, exciting nightclubs and duty-free
shopping that the Triumph has to offer.
